Leisure City – Lois A. Vogel, 88, of Leisure Town, Southampton NJ passed away on Saturday, July 3 at Virtua Memorial Healthcare facility in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was born in Providence RI on September 20, 1932, and resided in Hawthorne NJ for most of her childhood. On marrying her soulmate spouse Invoice at the age of 20 she began a lifelong journey that provided many moves to accommodate her husband’s occupation in the Navy. She settled in Cherry Hill, NJ in 1964 and moved to Leisure City in 1984.
Lois was always grateful for the existence that she had lived. Of all her enjoyments she most savored her family members and she invested as considerably time with them as she could. She experienced a distinctive position in her heart for her 4 grandchildren.
She specially appreciated vacations with her spouse Invoice of fifty yrs and the many tales that she brought back with her. She cherished Leisure City and cherished the quite a few friends that she experienced built there about so lots of a long time. She had so a lot entertaining undertaking with the “Curtain Callers”, her singing team, and paying out time at the pool. She also liked conversation. If she was not speaking it as due to the fact she was laughing.
Lois had a potent Roman Catholic religion and she relied on it several occasions to see her via the storms.
She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Vogel, her beloved son Richard and her daughter in-regulation Christine. Lois is survived by her sons William Vogel (May), Ronald Vogel, and daughter Susan Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren Anne-Marie Vogel, Steven Vogel, Andrew Vogel, and Briana (William Booth) Vogel.
A visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Primary St, Medford, NJ 08055. A Mass of Christian Burial will stick to at 11:00 am, at St. Mary of the Lakes RC Church, 40 Jackson Rd, in Medford. Burial will take put a Brigadier Basic William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
