“No, Sue! You are not able to go to an Ethiopian restaurant in Asheville today or any day! There are messages out all above. We are meant to keep residence. The virus is coming,” my good friend Reene  Ann warned.

It was March 15, 2020, and buddies, a single after a further, have been begging me not to take in at a cafe. But I experienced prepared this excursion for weeks, and could not be deterred. Therefore commenced our weekly COVID-19 ethnic cafe food custom, adventures all. We have been touring the world devoid of getting our passports alongside.

The next week’s outing highlighted a stir fry from Phan’s small crimson Japanese Specific food items truck on the N.C. 105 Bypass in Boone.
